Note about the apache2 packages
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

 - All packages below this directory are EXPERIMENTAL and not supported in any
way by SUSE. You have to use them on your own risk. Please don't install
anything from here if you don't know what you are doing.

Since this represents the "leading edge", you may be the first one to
discover a bug. Always let me know if you discover a problem.

Having said that, what you find here is supposed to be stable and usable,
and often it is in production use at many sites.

 - Since apache is now at 2.2, it has native large file support, which means
there is no binary compatibility problem anymore between the distribution
packages and the packages at hand. However you will note that
modules compiled for 2.0 will not work with 2.2.

 - old (2.0.55) apache packages have been removed; they may be available on
   request.

 - Note that you will need to update/install libapr1 and libapr-util1.
   -> also on http://software.opensuse.org/download/Apache/

 - Check the *.changes files for the latest changes.

As always, I appreciate your feedback, as it will help us to provide improved
packages in the future.

Thanks,
  Peter Poeml
