Hello out there!
[This file is at http://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/apache/]
Note about this directory (as of November 2006):
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The apache et al. packages are now maintained in the OpenSUSE Build Service.
See http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/User for general instructions on how
to install packages from there.
Please go to
http://software.opensuse.org/download/Apache/
Modules are here:
http://software.opensuse.org/download/Apache:/Modules/
(use the targets starting with "Apache_")
Except php, which is here:
http://software.opensuse.org/download/server:/php/
Developers: see http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service for more info, and
contact me to contribute.
[old README follows <- until I cleaned up the directory entirely]
Dear User,
all packages below this directory are not supported
in any way by SuSE. You have to use them on your own risk.
As time permits, I maintain rebuilds of the "bleeding edge
but supposedly usable" packages for important older
distributions.
These packages often have old bugs removed, but sometimes new ones
added!
All packages are signed with my GPG key (id EFB694EA) which can be
found on the key servers or here:
http://www.suse.de/~poeml/gpgkey.txt
Feedback is very much appreciated, and will help us to provide
improved packages in the future!
Thanks,
Peter Poeml <poeml@suse.de>
